Commuter Benefits
The HealthEquity commuter benefits program allows employees who commute for work to set aside pre-tax funds from their paychecks to pay for their work-related mass transit and parking expenses. Eligible expenses for the transit benefit include transit passes, fare cards, ticket books, and vanpool expenses.
You may deduct pre-tax money from your paycheck to pay for commute-related expenses which reduces your taxable income.
The maximum contribution is:
- Transit: $325 monthly
- Parking: $325 monthly
All monthly orders must be submitted or changed by the 10th of the current month via HealthEquity’s website to be effective for use the following month.

To register, visit www.healthequity.com/wageworks, select “LOG IN/REGISTER” and then “Employee Registration.” You’ll need to answer a few simple questions and create a username and password.
