Medical Insurance
Databricks offers private supplemental medical insurance with Euro Accident that supports your health care needs.
Eligibility
Regular employees of Databricks Sweden are eligible to participate from their date of hire. Spouses/domestic partners as well as dependent children are eligible as well.
Enrollment
Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the plan from their date of hire, provided they are actively at work.
Dependents can be added at any time throughout the year.
Contributions
Databricks funds the full premium for employees. Dependents can be added at employee’s cost.
The plan has a SEK 500 deductible per each course of treatments.
Subscription to the medical scheme will be subject to a ‘benefit-in-kind’ tax, whereby 60% of the value of the premium that Databricks pays on an employee’s behalf will be subject to tax. The benefit-in-kind tax is deducted monthly via payroll.
