Databricks offers Occupational Group Life (TGL) Insurance that provides financial protection for you and your family.

Eligibility


Employees of Databricks Sweden aged 18 to 70 years, working more than 8 hours/ week who meet the 'Fully Fit For Work' criteria are eligible to participate from their date of hire.

Enrollment


Eligible employees will be automatically enrolled from their date of hire.

Coverage


The coverage is a tax-free lump sum of 6 PBA* and will be paid out to your beneficiaries if you die. The benefit amount will start decreasing after you turn 55 to 1 PBA* if death occurs between the age of 64 and 70. There is no reduction after the age of 55 for employees with children under 17.

  • Children under 17 will additionally receive 2 PBA*
  • Children between 17- 18 will additionally receive 1.5 PBA*
  • Children aged 19 will additionally receive 1 PBA*

The benefit will be paid to the beneficiaries in the following order as set by the law:

  1. Surviving spouse, registered partner or cohabitant
  2. Employee’s partner named as a beneficiary in a separate declaration
  3. Children
  4. Parents

*PBA = SEK 58,800 in 2025

Databricks funds the full premium for employees.
