Long Term Disability Insurance


Protecting your income shouldn’t be another source of stress and worry if you become ill or disabled and are no longer able to work.

Eligibility


Employees of Databricks Sweden under the age of 65 who meet the 'Fully Fit For Work' criteria are eligible to participate from their date of hire.

Enrollment


Eligible employees will be automatically enrolled from their date of hire.

Coverage


After 90 days of sickness, the compensation payable is expressed as a percentage of an employee’s On Target Earnings (defined as base salary plus target variable compensation) between the following Price Base and Income Base Amounts:

Note: In case of partial disability it means that reduced compensation from the insurance is paid (25, 50 or 75%) *PBA = SEK 58,800 in 2025 **IBA = SEK 80,600 in 2025

Waiver of Premium


In the event that you should become disabled, a waiver of premium provision up to a pensionable salary of 50 IBA, is applicable after 90 days waiting period. This means that the pension provider will bear the responsibility for continuing to make pension contributions.

Contributions


Databricks pays 100% of the premium costs for the Long Term Disability and Waiver of Premium Insurance, on top of pension contributions.
