Accident Insurance

All regular Germany-based employees who are actively at work are automatically enrolled in accident insurance as of their hire date. The insurer is Zurich.

Coverage

Should you pass away due to an accident, this insurance will provide a lump sum payment to your beneficiaries of 4 x annual base salary. (This is in addition to the life insurance benefit) Should you become unable to work due to a disability that was a result of an accident, you will receive up to 60% of your monthly base salary. The benefit payout will be determined by the insurer and will be based on the type of accident and degree of disability. This benefit will be paid until you return to work, turn 67 or leave Databricks - whichever occurs first.
