Accident Insurance
Databricks offers a Supplementary Accident Insurance plan (UVG-Z) to provide financial protection for you and your family.
Eligibility
All regular and regular fixed-term employees of Databricks Switzerland are eligible from their date of hire.
Enrollment
Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the plan on the date of hire.
Should your annual salary exceed 300,000 CHF, you will be required to complete medical underwriting. If you did not complete this during onboarding, please complete this form (in English or German) and return it to the address detailed within the form. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the maximum potential benefit payout being capped at 300,000 CHF.
Coverage
¹Insured salary is the last known salary subject to AHV (OASI) contributions
A 30-day waiting period applies to all accidents/illnesses (see the benefit FAQs for more details)
Should you be hospitalised due to an accident, an upgrade to a private room will be covered by this insurance.
Contributions
Databricks pays 100% of the premium for this benefit.
