Benefits
As a regular, permanent Databricks India employee, you are eligible to participate in group medical insurance and personal accident benefits with Oriental Insurance as of your date of hire. More information about each plan can be found in the specific pages below.
New hires will be emailed by MediAssist within 2 weeks of their start date so they may enroll any eligible dependents and elect top-up insurance coverage, should they wish to.
Should you undergo an eligible life event, (e.g. marriage, birth, divorce) please complete this form within 30 days of the event to enroll/remove dependents in your medical insurance plan.
Enrollment
Without an eligible life event, you may only enroll/remove dependents in your medical insurance plan during the annual Open Enrollment period (which takes place annually in July) for the upcoming policy year (1 July through 30 June).
Processing time for enrollment is one month, you will receive a welcome email once your enrollment is complete.
Manage Your Benefits
You may access your medical e-cards and submit claims by logging into your MediBuddy account: https://portal.medibuddy.in/login.aspx
- Username: Your Employee ID@databricks Your six-digit Employee ID may be found in Workday by clicking the menu button on the right side of the homepage → View Profile.
- Password: Date of birth (format: DDMMYYYY)
